Audit the story
Write ten sentences beginning with “I am…” and circle statements that sound fixed: “I am bad at…”, “I always…”, “I never…”. Ask whether each is a fact, a pattern or an old conclusion. A pattern can change.
Build evidence
Choose one identity you want to strengthen and create tiny opportunities to prove it. If you want to become more organised, keep one promise to yourself each day. If you want to become more confident, practise speaking up once. Identity grows more convincingly when behaviour gives it evidence.
A note from The Receiving Era: These ideas are for reflection and inspiration. They are not promises of specific outcomes, and they are not a substitute for professional financial, medical or legal advice where appropriate.
